Our Unique Design: Moon Wood

1. Nature Friendly: In line with the Thoma-Holz100 system: the roof, walls and ceilings are constructed entirely of ‘moon wood’ sustainably felled at a time when no sap is produced and the wood is strongest. The structure is held together with 200,000 wooden dowels – no artificial glues or nails are used. This way the wooden buildings bind CO² naturally, so the building itself ensures the hotel meets the highest energy-efficiency standards.

2. Feel the benefit: The wood used in our timber hotel has been cut at a positive moon phase (between November and January) to give you elementary energy using nature as a catalyst to aid well-being and sleep. Come and experience it for yourself!
